Project Overview

Our works involved the construction of all of the foundations for this 7.5MW gas peaking plant, including construction of an access road, acoustic fencing, security fencing, ducting and drainage.

Delivering on a Compact Site

The compact nature of the site meant that regular communication with the customer and their other contractors was essential in order to create a positive working environment without incident.

With multiple parties working within a small footprint, we coordinated closely on access, sequencing and daily activities so that the civils works progressed smoothly alongside the wider installation programme.

Part of a Proven Programme

Exmouth is one of a number of Short Term Operating Reserve (STOR) gas peaking plants we have delivered with EPS Construction on behalf of Conrad Energy — applying the same tried-and-tested approach to foundations, drainage, ducting and fencing that has delivered these sites safely across the South West.

Key Achievements

  • Full foundation, drainage and ducting package on a constrained site
  • Access road and acoustic and security fencing constructed
  • Close coordination with the customer and concurrent contractors
  • Delivered without incident
